Posted - 25 September 2008 : 10:27:46 Hi Andrew
Basically in the interview the OR goes over your bankruptcy form page by page. In my interview the OR went through each page and asked me questions with regards to any properties, expenditure etc. etc. It will give you an opportunity to explain any purchases, dates you took the credit out, your reasons for the bankruptcy etc. I didn't have any information, I couldn't remember dates or what I spent the money on and the OR was really understanding. I gave him all the information that I had and he seemed happy with that. They aren't there to judge you, my OR was very kind and sympathetic. Best thing to do is to make a list of questions that you need answered so you won't forget.
I think its basically to compile a report to your creditors. My interview only lasted 47 minutes, 4 weeks of worry for nothing. Good luck!

Posted - 25 September 2008 : 10:26:41 When I had mine the examiner went through my SOA and I had to explain what my loans were spent on - she didn't mention my bank statement or credit cards. If you kept a copy of loan agreements and your SOA I would recommend that you have them to hand, along with a pen and paper and a glass of water!
