As long as it's an Inland Revenue approved pension and you're over 3 years from retirement, it will be fine. However, if you are making AVC's, you may have to stop for the duration of your BR.

I know your question was for Julian but we wrote our pensions down my OHs was army and mine the NI one and neither will be touched as we are a long way from receiving them. Hope this helps.
