Posted - 27 October 2008 : 19:12:51 hi, i have now gone bankrupt and have my interview with the OR is on thursday. the house i put down on the paperwork is the one i am living in now but i have only lived here a few weeks and was wondering if the bankruptcy will go against the house i am in now or my previous address that i lived in for years ? |

Posted - 28 October 2008 : 21:02:26 I would agree that the current address will be noted simply because that is where you live but they will also put "lately residing at ...." on the advert but will not speak to your parents landlord

Posted - 28 October 2008 : 02:47:24 Hi both addresses should have been noted on your 2 page debtor's petition as you must declare your current address at the time of bankruptcy and also the address at which you have lived for the greater part of the 6 months immediately preceeding bankruptcy.
If you have done so then both addresses are likely to be published in the local newspaper.
