Morning All

No it's not insomnia, I am working nights!!

As posted previously we have cancelled Mortgage and secured loan payments as moving into rented late Feb prior to going BR. Will keep paying gas and electric and move them with us. Question is what happens to council tax arrears? do they get written off or follow you? or would OR be much happier if we keep them up to date?

Hope you all have a lovely day while I am snoring. Feel like a vampire!

Cheers all

Steve

Steve

If your not in arrears now then i would keep paying them as you will have council tax at your new place to pay.

If you do have arrears then the old ones can be added to your BR.

I know what nights are like i used to do them so did hubby, also while i think about it when you know the date your moving out do inform the council tax people that the home your in will be empty and be going back to the mortgage co, that way you should stop any further costs.

Have a great sleep.
