Today is my BR day - I submitted my petition at 9:30, I go back at 2:00 for the result and a chat with the OR on the phone. The fee was £495. Fingers crossed.

Thanks Needafriend! I have read some of your many posts and they have given me the courage to take the plunge.

As of 14:10 today I am officially BR. So far it has been absolutely painless, didn't even have to go in front of a Judge.

I have had an initial telephone conversation with the OR's office (because I once ran a business) and an appointment will be arranged in due course.

I will let the dust settle for a day or two and then open a Cash Saver account at the Co-op.

I will keep the forum posted re my experience.
