Posted - 02 February 2009 : 16:45:13 Hi Experts,
We went bankrupt on the 1st December 2008. We have an IPA setup in which I pay £260 and my wife about £140. This adds up to half our disposable income of £880. Anyway my wife will go onto SMP only from March which I believe will be about £450 per month. That will be a drop of about £700 per month. Who should I contact about changing our payments? Should it be the company employed to take payments or the OR?
Also my wife received a bonus this month of around £1000. Who do we inform and how much do you think we will have to pay them? As our earnings will drop soon will they let us keep some of it back? I also received a bonus of around £300. Money is sitting in bank at the moment until we know what to do. Would appreciate any help from you guys. Always found people very helpful on this forum
Cheers Subzuk

Posted - 02 February 2009 : 17:34:03 When I had a change in my income I contacted Clarke Willmott, who are collecting my IPA. They sent me a new I & E form which I returned to them and they passed it to the OR. I presume that your IPAs are being collected by Moon Beever, so I would give them a call.
I don't know how much of the bonuses they will ask for, but I would think that you would have an arguement to keep some of it at least to buy things for your new arrival. You can only ask!
