i have been split with my x for 5 years.we have a joint morgage
i live in the house with our child age 14
in the paper this week was the notice he has gone bankrupt.
didnt know nothing about this at all,and when i got in touch with him he would not tell me nothing.
Do i need to get a solicitor to fight my corner?
i can only afford to add a small amount on my morgage if im forced to remorgage.
very worried please help, TJ

Has he been paying the mortgage instead of child maintenance or as well as? Because if it is instead of then there may be more argument for you to have a higher sake of equity I suppose.
