Posted - 12 April 2009 : 20:14:58 i have been split with my x for 5 years.we have a joint morgage i live in the house with our child age 14 in the paper this week was the notice he has gone bankrupt. didnt know nothing about this at all,and when i got in touch with him he would not tell me nothing. Do i need to get a solicitor to fight my corner? i can only afford to add a small amount on my morgage if im forced to remorgage. very worried please help, TJ

Posted - 13 April 2009 : 13:49:17 Has he been paying the mortgage instead of child maintenance or as well as? Because if it is instead of then there may be more argument for you to have a higher sake of equity I suppose.
