Posted - 17 January 2010 : 13:50:52 myself and my wife were made bankrupt in jan 2009,we had ED in june2009,my question is that my wife had a letter fron the OR few months ago saying he had finished with his enquiries and was applying to the court to be dismissed from the case,i wonder if anyone can tell me why i havent the same letter,none of us had a IPA would be grateful if anyone can help

Posted - 18 January 2010 : 10:03:33 thanks for you reply,no dont have any assets and the only thing we have is 3 funeral cover policies which we bought back of the OR so dont think what could be holding up my letter

Posted - 17 January 2010 : 13:56:15 The OR will continue to deal with your bankruptcy until everything is finished, This is totaly different from your discharge and does not really affect you. Did you have any other assets such as shares, life polices or properties that might take a while to sort out. Some times it can be simply that they are chasing someone connected to the case for a reply to the letter
