Posted - 26 January 2010 : 14:21:00 I'm currently completing the on line br form, but would like a bit of advice if possible please. When declaring my income there is another question asking if anyone other members contribute to household expenses. My wife pays for the majority of the child care but nothing else, as this quite a substantial amount of her take home pay anyhow! What I want to know is if/when do I declare what she earns? Does this have an effect on my DI? In my expenditures do I put the child care in? I'm a little confused and could do with some guidance, but like so many others can hardly afford the fees for the pro's to do it all. Your help will be greatly appreciated once again.

There shouldn't be any need to declare how much your wife earns as it is you that is declaring BR and not your wife.
