Hi, I was made bankrupt in May 2008, will I have been discharged by now and if so, how do I obtain a certificate of satisfaction?
Many Thanks

You will need to apply to the court that declared your BR for a certificate and, I believe, it costs £60.

Hi Rachel

Yes you would have been automatically discharged on the first anniversary of you petitioning for your bankruptcy. A certificate of satisfaction is not normally rpoduced and you would have to pay for this. Speak to the Official Receiver and he will be able to arrange such a certificate.

All the best
