Your best option may be to seek bankruptcy - do you have any other debts as well as the £11k to Revenue?

If you are in receipt of benefits it may be worth your while to contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau, not only can they provide assistance/advice for free, they can also provide a voucher fror those on benefits (provided they have an utility account in their name) which will fund the whole cost of the bankruptcy. If you do not qualify for the voucher you will have to fund £360 to file for bankruptcy but the £150 Court fee will be waivered (usual cost £510)

Do you own a property?
