Posted - 31 January 2010 : 12:23:01 Hi Welshaly
There are definatly people on this forum who can offer suggestions and help.
your benefits should be used so that you can still eat and have a basic lifestyle not be used solely to pay interest on your debts.
The creditors will write and telephone to do what they can to get you to pay the money or make an agreement to pay (my worse day was 23 phone calls in one day), you do not have to answer the phone, you do not have to pass the security check, you do not even have to keep the same phone number.
Bankruptcy, when planned correctly is not as bad as it seems, it should not be taken lightly but for some people it is the right option.
fear of the unknown can cause lack of sleep, i would suggest speaking to one of the experts to the left they will at least be able to give guidance and help with an appropriate path
good luck in the path ahead
regards Richard

Posted - 31 January 2010 : 09:41:31 You can either have your benefits paid into your daughter's account or open a Co-op Cashminder account and have them paid into that account. The Co-op is very BR friendly and there is no problem with opening an account with them.
