Hello,
I have been discharged from Bankruptcy for 2 years now, which is brilliant. And dont worry others that are going through it - there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I was advised to get the Cashplus Prepaid Mastercard, with the Credit Builder attachment, as a way of improving my Credit rating as they loan you £60 and you just pay back that £60 over the year - so it doesnt really end up costing you anything - its just a way of showing the Credit Agencies that you can make monthly installments again.

But....has anyone on here actually had any luck with this, does it show up as a good thing on your credit check?

Also, with the card, did you just stop making payments after 12 months, or did you continue?

Please let me know as my 12 months is nearly up!

Kind Regards

Paying credit back on time will definitely improve your credit rating. In order to tell how much improvement there is you would need to check your credit score before you took the card out and then 1 year later.
