Posted - 02 February 2010 : 16:23:29 Can someone tell me how soon the OR gets in touch with me after Bankrupcy, We were forced bankrupt by Debt Free Direct when our IVA became impossible to pay, our bank account is not frozen and have heard nothing from anyone!!

click on the below link to the insolvency web site and click bankruptcy search
then online search
then by name
insolvency service all offices
then your name
it will then provide you with the office dealing with your claim, sometimes even a named member of staff to contact

Posted - 02 February 2010 : 17:49:41 You should speak to the OR or their Assistant on either the day you are declared BR or one or two days after. They will go through a couple of things and they will either make an appointment for the OR's interview there and then or the OR themselves will ring up within a week or so of the BR to set up the interview time/date.
