does my disability living allowance taken into consideration when calculating my income/ expenditure ?

if you are in receipt of benefits then they are taken into account but ;
if the income is solely benefits no IPA will be sought
if there is non benefit income as well and when combined there is a DI over £99 then the IPA can not be more than the non benefit income ie. the benefits are yours to keep

All benefits are included as income, see link below to explain how an IPA is calculated including benefits.

Hi Gary and welcome to the forum,

I am not 100% sure on this but I believe most benefits including DLA are excluded as income by the OR. You should list it on your SOA but the OR should not include it when working out any disposable income.

As I said I am not 100% sure on this so it may be worth talking to the CAB to get confirmation.
