Posted - 11 February 2010 : 19:58:14 if you are in receipt of benefits then they are taken into account but ; if the income is solely benefits no IPA will be sought if there is non benefit income as well and when combined there is a DI over £99 then the IPA can not be more than the non benefit income ie. the benefits are yours to keep

Don't worry or know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum.(Baz Lurhman) RevivaUK and Paul Johns helped me through it all i can't recommend them enough!!

Posted - 11 February 2010 : 11:42:11 Hi Gary and welcome to the forum,
I am not 100% sure on this but I believe most benefits including DLA are excluded as income by the OR. You should list it on your SOA but the OR should not include it when working out any disposable income.
As I said I am not 100% sure on this so it may be worth talking to the CAB to get confirmation.
