Posted - 15 February 2010 : 17:49:21 I'm currently paying my debts but late however, my relationship has just broken down and I have a child I have to support alone. Therefore I'm in a position that I won't be able to pay these in 2/3 months and wish to declare myself bankrupt. Will this be accepted as present I'm only paying late.

your situation appears unfortunate and straight forward, yes applying for BR in 2 - 3 months may be appropriate.
before you do so please speak to one of the experts to the left or CAB , if only to reassure your self that it is the correct option for you. before you get into any arrears they the experts may have a plan B
