Good Morning. Things seem to move very fast now, I have filled in all my forms this morning and phoned the court who told me that they "don't do" appointments, I just turn up any day and everything will get processed there and then. So I'm off to court tomorrow morning.

I have only this month for the first time defaulted on my loan and NatWest have relentlessly phoned me for the last few days now (I'm ignoring them) which I think is slightly heavy-handed seeing that it's my first ever default... Anyway, I went to check my current account online to print out statements for the court (don't have paper statements anymore) and had to discover that my account seems to have "disappeared" off the system (only my current one where I used to get wages etc, not my loan account)... Has this happened to anyone else? What do I do now? I really really really don't want to have to talk to them. Do I absolutely need the statements for the court? Can the court get them from NatWest directly? Thanks in advance for any help...

Hi Daniel.
Thanks for that. I know it sounds weird, but I had to deal with the prospect of becoming bankrupt since Nov08 now and have always been very good at keeping everybody informed, but I've suddenly had enough and don't want to speak to any of them anymore... I guess I'll let NatWest know the BR ref. number as soon as I have it and then be done with it. Thanks for your advice, good to know I don't need to worry about the bank statements :-)

Hi

First you dont need any bank statements for the court unless you are claiming hardship to get the court fee of £150 waived. Secondly there is no problem telling Nat West you are filing for bankruptcy, I presume you have another nominated account now to receive your income
