I am planning my BR shortly but need to be sure about something- I live with my fiancee and we are moving house soon, she is borrowing the deposit from her gran and she is going to be the sole mortgagee. However, I will be contributing to the mortgage ppayments
. Where do I stand with the OR when I go BR? Is her house safe? I assume it will be as she is the legal owner in both sourcing the deposit and holding the mortgage.

So, what if I don't contribute to the mortgage....for example, we work it out by her paying the mortgage and I pay all the bills? I just don't want to cause her problems, she's worked hard for her credit worthiness and I'd hate it if she had to sell her house because of my past.

if you are contributing towards the mortgage payments then the OR may well see that you have an interest in the property and may pursue it
