Posted - 23 February 2010 : 06:53:34 You should contact one or both of the following companies to discuss the property and whether there is a chance it would be taken as an asset:
Reviva UK: http://www.revivauk.com/ Jones Giles - http://www.jonesgiles.co.uk/
Is the property in the UK? Is it in negative equity? There is a lot to think about so do not rush into anything before discussing your options.

Posted - 22 February 2010 : 21:44:43 Hi Maria
as you have previously entered in to an IVA you must obtain a certificate of failure before you are allowed to apply for BR, so yes you will have to speak to them , they mat be able to help with the next stage (bankruptcy)
are you debts UK only based ?
also because you have been out of the country for more than 3 months, the courts may decided that your centre of main interest is not in the UK ( they look back over last 6 months to see where you have lived the most) so it will be unlikely you will be able to go BR before end of august
do you have work now ?
until you have had the chance to email one of the experts do not disclose your address to the credit companies yet. work out and understand how you will address your debts with the expert help and then contact lenders
good luck Richard

Posted - 22 February 2010 : 21:17:54 Hi maria
welcome to the forum
I hope that your mother is better
in the first instance you must contact the IVA provider they will direct you as to what options are available to you, if it is more than 3 months missed payments they will officially fail the IVA
once you have spoken to them post back and further with information about your situation
