HOUSE REPOSSESSION!!!

Hi I was declared bankrupt in november after seperation from wife,we both wanted the house repossessed and now it is nearly there. The only problem I have is there is now a solicisters bill just come through the post for £475...What happens? Do I have to pay this or does it go into the house deficit..please help....obviously this is hard to pay because of no disposable income as I have an IPA from the OR..but they say in the letter intrest will be charged if not paid in full within 30 days..

Thanks very much

It is to do with the soliciters acting on behalf of the mortgage company for the repossession.Appreciate your help

Hi wayne

forward the solicitors letter to your OR but also contact the solicitor with the OR contact name and address

I take it that the solicitors letter was for the sale of the property and not seperation proceedings, if it was connected with the sale of the property it should not be your responsibility.

If it is fees for the seperation than it depends on when you seperated before or after declaring BR

regards Richard
