Discharged Now What ?
According to the Insolvency register I have a status : Discharged on Feb**2010. So I assume I am discahrged.
My question is what to now, I have read about cleaning up my credit file on this site and will commence sending letters to previous creditors (i will give them 3 weeks to auotmaticy up date themselves).

What do we do regarding our house, my wife had a letter asking for 2K for my intrest in our house from the RTLU, we responded saying we disagreed with thier figure due to valuations sent and recent sales patterns in our area. We had no response. So how do we deal with getting the house back into our name.

You can start to clean up your credit file using the information in the following link - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=677875

You will need to give the creditors at least 28 days to update your credit file and I would probably wait until your details have dropped off the register i.e. 3 months. You have 6 years until the BR debts will fall off your credit file so there is no rush. Print off a couple of copies of the register showing you are discharged as some creditors will ask for proof that you have been discharged.

The House will just sit there getting more expensive if you do not make an offer. The RTLU,if nothing else is done, will re look at it at the 2 1/2 year point
