HELP!!
I am very scared on this process although it is no one elses fault but my own. I owe approx 54K pounds to the Inland Revenue. My wife has some horses that she dotes on and would I am sure break her heart if the court takes them away. is this possible? My wife and I will divorce, not because of this but the situation does not help. If we can show we can sell the house asap will the court order still remain in place?

Hi Andrew

from your brief outline you have many issues to discuss and (it may help to) have open talk about the options available to you,

our financial situation caused us to come very close to seperating, i think the fear of the unknown caused added anxiety.

it was necessary for us both to go BR but not all married couples have to go BR due to debts

I would speak to Mel or Paul @ Reviva, they are both highly recomended and when you work through the whole situation, you may both feel a little more relaxed with each other.

good luck regards Richard

Are you looking at both of you going bankrupt? If just you, and the debts are in your sole name, there is no reason for your wife to lose her horses. (I wouldn't lose my dogs!!)

Sorry but without more info i do not know where to start on advice - what court order?
