Hi,

As our car was worth more than 2k, we sold it and purchased a cheaper car whilst leaving enough money to pay BR fees.

Please do not go to a loan shark! you will make matters worse. I also think the OR will frown upon this as you are supposed to regret ever obtaining credit!

Hi

Same advice - DO NOT even think about a money lender (loan shark)

Like going from the frying pan...

Why not speak to one of the insolvency experts that post here?

Good luck, Richard

Have you sought any advice as yet on BR?(sorry if I have missed this on an earlier post)

It seems to me that that is your first step - do you have assets (car/property)

A call to one of the insolvency experts that post here will help you get the clear thought processes you need to move forward

Good luck, Richard

I had help from a family member who was going to pay the BR fee's for me this now can't happen so I have to try and get the money from elsewhere.

anyone game for robbing a bank let me know...... I will keep you all informed on how this goes on. As of April this year I am stopping any payments to my debts I then need to get the court date in place them hope I can somehow raise the £600 for BR

have a gd day

Hi

The catelogue firms are notorious for threats - Very (Littlewoods) are about the worst that I know - my wife (who is not BR) is trying to battle with them at the moment.

If they are really sending out that much confetti - a word in th ear of the Ombudsman is worth looking into...

Good luck, Richard

congratulations on a high number of default notices !

Do you have 27 seperate accounts with Kays or has their computer system gone off at a tangent.

Are the default notices just saying that they have closed your accounts and that they will in some time in the future go to court. the emphasis on some time in the future.

If they have a court date they are slightly more urgent notices.

Dont think that Kays are one of the creditors who will go to court and make people BR, they just prefer to hastle people with letters and phone calls. (can always ask if they will contribute to BR fees).

If you have lost your help speak to CAB or one of the experts listed to the left

regards Richard

What was the help towards the BR costs? Was this as a result of benefits you are on or something else?
