Posted - 16 March 2010 : 01:13:17 My husband was declared bankrupt last month, we had a joint bank account and I was assured this wouldnt affect me in any way and I could carry on with the same account and all ingoings and outgoings would remain the same, today I found out by mistake that all accounts I personally have and the joint account have been closed. What do I do now? I was not made bankrupt

Posted - 16 March 2010 : 02:04:15 hi and welcome to the forum you should get your husband to contact he OR to advise him of the situation you should contact your bank and change any joint accounts into your name solely and after the OR has advised them of his non interest in your accounts they should unfreeze them i say unfreeze them because that is most likely what has happened hopefully they have not been closed

Don't worry or know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum.(Baz Lurhman) RevivaUK and Paul Johns helped me through it all i can't recommend them enough!!
