Im starting a very small business again after being discharged in october.
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a bank to approach who may be able to help with having a previous bankcruptcy? I just want a basic account and a card machine no lending or anything?

Try Barclays

If you are needing a card machine I've been told in the past that Barclays are quite helpful, but I have heard they have required a guarantor on occasions - not sure of the specific circumstances in those cases though

I always think the Co-op is the best there is - a principled bank...
Good luck, Richard
