Hi guys

Im starting a very small business again after being discharged in october.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a bank to approach who may be able to help with having a previous bankcruptcy? I just want a basic account and a card machine no lending or anything?

Coop wont allow their cashminder account to be used for self employed or business reasons look at the terms and conditions on their website they are very stringent regearding their business accounts and credit scoring many of the basic personal accounts are the same

Try Barclays

Hi hairandbeauty

If you are needing a card machine I've been told in the past that Barclays are quite helpful, but I have heard they have required a guarantor on occasions - not sure of the specific circumstances in those cases though

Barclays will offer you a full business account with visa debit card and cheque book

Hi

I always think the Co-op is the best there is - a principled bank...

Good luck, Richard
