Posted - 24 March 2010 : 16:43:08 Hi all This may be a funny question, but I am just wondering if anyone has experience of the court in Milton Keynes, and/or of the OR that deals with cases from this area? I have my court date set for 7th April and I'm just wondering... |

Posted - 24 March 2010 : 19:17:20 i was at mk court on 16th this month, everyone is friendly and even the judge. i saw judge for less than 2 minutes then went downstairs and waited for my forms. the clerk told me OR would be in touch within 7 days. i got a call next day and the OR was very pleasant.

Posted - 24 March 2010 : 17:25:41 Hi,
Sorry, I have no knowledge of Milton Keynes CC but suggest the following:
Have you got representation at the BR hearing?
Why not make a call to the Banruptcy clerk and ask them if you will see the judge or not (if you have an adviser they should already have done that)
You (or any adviser) should also ask the BR clerk if they get in contact with the OR after the BO has been dealt with.
I am sorry I can not offer any more advice re this CC.
One final word, whatever the procedures are, (and I would try to find out as above), it will not be too much to worry about.
If you see the DJ, it will be in their chambers (office) no wigs or gowns - he/she will make sure you understand the implications and will probably point out a couple of things to be aware of (cooperate with the OR etc) and if you are there for 3 minutes, I will be surprised. It may even be that you do not see the DJ.
Good luck, post back for others after you have been to court. Richard
