Posted - 22 April 2010 : 19:14:29 Hi, I need help with question 6.9 on the SOA please....
I haven't worked for a few years and am not on benefits, so where would I find my income tax reference number? Also how do I find the address of my local tax office? Will my husband's tax office be based near the head office of where he works, as opposed to near where we live?
We are both going Br next Thursday....
Many thanks in advance.....x

If you go to hmrc.gov.uk there used to be a local office locater page which just needed your post code if you don't have any other details - your local office would then be able to give you your details - although probably only by post - I wouldn't worry if you don't have it available for when you go bankrupt - you can always pass it on to the OR afterwards.
Your husband's tax office would usually be based on the office of where he works, but his employer should be able to give him the details
