Posted - 23 April 2010 : 12:43:55 Hey everyone, absolutely months since I last posted, i honestly dont know what i would have done without this forum before we went to court back in Oct last yr. In fact its so good Ive since recommended it to two others that were in this situation also!
Anyway, onwards...both my husband and I got a letter about early discharge about 3 weeks ago. We duly filled them in and that was that. We've not heard anything since BUT..I had a quick look on the register this morning to see that on both counts, against Status it says: Currently Bankrupt: Automatic Discharge will be 22 Oct 2010. Which was yesterday (quick arent I!?) soooo does this mean we are in fact discharged or not?
You can probably see why Im a little confused, then again maybe not!

check the dates on your original thread automatic discharge 22nd October 2010, that should be a year after you petitioned.
By what you have typed you are still under bankruptcy.
3 weeks after teh initial discharge letter is unfortuantly rather quick they are averaging 6-12 weeks
keep fingers X the clock is ticking down

Posted - 23 April 2010 : 13:22:18 Hi Worried
Im sure someone will come along and correct me if Im wrong but I think you are still bankrupt.
I hadn't heard anything and I declared in September 2009, I checked the insolvency on Monday and it said that my automatic discharge would be 25th September 2010. It didn't bother me cos I hadnt received ED forms or heard from OR since interview.
Got a letter this morning saying I was discharged on the 19th April. I think it takes a while from sending ED forms back to actually being discharged. I don't know why I didn't receive anything from them to fill in.
