Posted - 29 April 2010 : 19:14:11 hi there, I went BR in May 2009 and was discharged Jan 2010. Had no real creditors problems in all that time but this week I have been bombarded constantly with calls from 2 DC companies. They refuse to give me details of the debt unless I give them my full name address etc, which I will n not do as I legally am not obliged to discuss my finances with them now asI went Br. I told them this and directed them to OR but they said they are not interested unless I tell them my full address. Surely this is harrassment as I no longer have any debts. Also my BR no longer shows up on IS website as it only stays on for 3 mths from discharge. I can understand why his has started to happen and dont know how to get them off my back.

Once you have given them the detail, they will have to leave you alone.

Posted - 29 April 2010 : 20:12:43 probably the best thing to do is to pass security and send them a copy of the BR order. You cant really claim harrasment if they cant check with you that the debt is clear
