Posted - 03 May 2010 : 15:23:16 I have been served with a bankruptcy petition for what was originally a £20,000 business loan.previously they have placed charging orders on my property and the one i rented was repossessed and instead of selling it they gave it back to the mortgage company.I had offered them £20,000 which they refused and instead of an order for sale on my home they have taken this route. The papers state they had an hearing adjourned in March2010 which i knew nothing about and this one is set for May 27th 2010 is there anything i can do?

yes there is something that you can do.
Time is the essence, if you are going to contest the bankruptcy you need to speak to one of the experts ASAP, some will take text messages and Email even on bank holidays.
If the debts are more than you can afford and are happy to allow the bankruptcy, they have saved you £600, i would still recomend making contact with one of the experts.
I used paul and his team at reviva and highly recomend them, (yes he takes emails or texts on a bank holiday )
good luck with whatever decision you take, however you must act fast
good luck and regards Richard
