Posted - 04 May 2010 : 09:23:52 Good morning, After receiving advice from yourselves,I was declared Bankrupt in the High Court in August 2008 and now have about 16 months left of my IPA to pay.My query is that I am hoping to move to a different part of the country in March 2010 and need to know if I am "allowed" to resign from my current job in order to do this. I assume that I am now discharged from my Bankruptcy although I haven't received any notification of this and havent been able to contact the Official Receiver's office to have this confirmed. Although my circumstances will have changed if I move away, I would definitely be able to meet the remaining IPA payments if they remained the same amount. Please could you advise me as to whether or not this would be ok? Many thanks Graham

welcome back to the forum
nothing to stop you moving and trying to find a job appropriate to your circumstances.
you will have to speak to your OR and recalculate your I & E but apart from that no restrictions.
