Posted - 08 May 2010 : 22:09:32 Hi all complety confused and getting conflicting answers if we go bankrupt and have ANY equity in our house do we have to sell it we where told this by the iva compant that the creditors would expect us to sell even with a couple of thousand equity. We probably will have about £10000 at a push but really dont want to lose the house this is the stumbling block thats holding us back. Can we be refused bankrupcy the iva compnay worked out we apparentely had a di od £270 a month i wish ! will the court want us to pay this amount for three years into our bankrupcy. Sorry for all the questions. I am currently paying all my creditors token payments should i stop this to enable me to raise the cost of filing for bankrupcy but would this also go against us in our petition. Any advice and truthful answers greatly appreciated i registed last year and for some reason i am coming up as unluckyone(last years name) but i am kendog now. Hope someone can help me
