Posted - 11 June 2010 : 10:33:56 I have thankfully had an early discharge from bankruptcy. I have discovered that I have been overpaying on my income tax and calculate that i am due a rebate of approx £1,000, if i manage to successfully recover this money from the inland revenue, will the OR have any claim over it? many thanks for your assistance

One of the first forms that you get after BR is one that states any tax due back to you is theirs even if it was an overpayment or refund from before BR

Don't worry or know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum.(Baz Lurhman) RevivaUK and Paul Johns helped me through it all i can't recommend them enough!!
