Hi to all

Awaiting OR interview next week and just wondered when will I know what bank account I can use/keep?
I have a Natwest basic Step account for salaries and no debt connected and as advised also opened a Coop cashminder account.
I take it I should explain this during interview.
Will I be told straight away what account I can use??
They all seem to be as normal at the moment.
I am using my RTA injury money at the moment for living (food etc).

Hi again MW,

Don't worry about not having any statements etc, I didn't have any either and it wasn't a problem. I can honestly say Reviva are fantastic so try not to worry just enjoy your birthday.

The OR will see everything and you will be fine.

Thank you for your kind about my fresh start, my parents viewed a property for me tonight and they said its lovely.....thankfully its with a letting agent who is a friend of a friend and the house is mine, another worry gone.

Take care

Hi again KJ

How wonderful that you are starting 'fresh' by moving!
I wish you all the very best for your new future and it will be just great for you to be nearer family.
I also have that same thought 'what will be will be'...I just want this to go ok so I too can start my life again rather that constantly worry!! Its really nackering on your body after years!
All I can really do is trust the guidance and help from Reviva and they have been brilliant...I just think Im driving them mad with all my questions!! lol!!They'll be glad to see the back of me :)

Ill keep posting and Ive already read my BR forms again and again and all I can really say for my OR is:
Everything is as its written and I havent kept any statements as its so long ago and I never gambled and I have tried through DMP, but other than continuing with that Ill be around 80 before I'm 'free' !???

Ill post again after OR.

Thanks to everyone for their replies!!

Hi MW,

I was exactly the same as you, I was petrified up until the day I declared, after that I thought there isn't alot I can do about it now, what will be will be.

I was discharged 10 days before my birthday so was a great birthday present.........on the bright side by your birthday next year you will be discharged just keep holding that thought in your head.

Im moving in 6 weeks back to the midlands to start a completely fresh life away from everything here and to be near my family.

Celebrate your birthday....you have done nothing wrong and you tried to sort it out with the DMP which will go down well with the OR, please try not to worry and enjoy your weekend. I will be thinking of you on Monday and please let me know how you get on.

Take Care

Hi KJ

No, but similar situation-I split with my ex-similar to you.(amicably)Looks like more people from East Sussex is on the forum, which is wonderful to share.
I went to Eastbourne court and I have Reviva as well to help.
(Thank heavens!!)My interview is Mond.
And during the weekend its my birthday...but I just cannot muster up any wants to celebrate and I'll be alone anyways.
I also 'only' did DMP for 4.5 years...but still pretty 'proud'of having not used credit for lots and lots of years and quite comfortable with this too!!

I wish I too had Mr Read(OR)as you say he was just so nice.
My OR sounds like a very young girl.
Reading other treads though, sounds like she only does the interview then writes a rapport to give further.

Wonder when I should stop worrying??

Hi Most Worried,

Were you known as Totally Lost? The OR will tell you during your interview about which bank account he will have no interest in. I managed to keep my CO-OP Cashminder as they had no interest in it. Although I know there is conflicting info about the Brighton OR office, some people have had to have all their accounts closed basic or not, I was fortunate.

What day is your interview?

Take Care

Karen xx
