Hi Everyone,
This is my first time posting here, I have read through many questions and now have some of my own if someone doesn't mind helping?
I am due in Court to go BR on 20th July and am very nervous about it. I completed all the forms myself online and submitted them and have printed out the required 3 copies.
My household income is £2707 monthly and I have worked out my outgoings at £2625 however having investigated further I am worried that the OR won't allow some of the things I have put down on the SOA and have also realised that I haven't put down certain other things like Dentist and Dog food. How will it work with the OR when we go through it, will I be able to include the other things at that time?
Also on the day of the Court date I have read that I need to take a copy of my tenancy agreement but do I need to take bank statements or any other documentation with me on that day. If not will the OR request bank statements or anything else from me?? Will I have to then send it to him/her?
I am married and my husband is currently unemployed (since Jan this year), I have 4 children and 2 dogs.
Any advice would be very gratefully received.

Hi
You have done most of the work well done, with regard to Income and Expenditure dont worry about what you have put down on the SOA as the OR will go through the expenses with you, they may not accept some of the outgoings but will advise you of expenses you may have forgotten, dont think of them as the enemy they are not use them, ask them questions they are there to help rehabilitate you.
Also you do not require your tennancy agreement on the day of the hearing and do not need to take any bank statements to court, you may have some telephone contact with the OR on the day, after the petition is granted, or they may call you later, use this momment to ask them what they require of you,hope that helps. |
