Hi Chris, depending on who is going to purchase the BI, you do not need a solicitor.

For example, I purchased hubby's BI, no need for a solicitor and a very simple process.

Hi Chris.9
I too have been offered my BI. I'm in Northern Ireland. £305 fees plus £80 valuation fee. I'm not sure if you need a solicitor? I thought I would try to see if i can fill in the paperwork myself. Maybe someone will come along soon and give us some advice.
