I was made bankrupt in sept 2008, i hvae been offered a good job with Vauxhall but there will be the finance side which will involve FSA accreditation eventually, i am long since discharged, will my previous BR 2 years ago affect this, please note i am now discharged

That was what I was trying to say.
Any financial information will remain on file for the six years so a check will reveal it.

I don't understand how FSA accreditation works, but if you are asked if you have ever been BR you will have to answer yes, and if you are credit checked this will show up until the BR drops off your file.

It will show up on your credit rating for six years after the initial BR date.
