I am reaching the end of my 6 years bankruptcy penuary (November 2010), actually having been discharged in the shortest possible time - how quickly should I expect Experian and Equifax to remove the associated references from my credit file?

You can request that your creditors update your credit file using the information at http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=677875

As Tracey says your BR debts will remain on your credit file for 6 years after your BR date.

Congratulations!

Your BR will drop off your credit file 6 years from the date of the BR order, and any defaults will drop off 6 years from the date that they were made, which should be no later than the date of your BR.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 - it's over at last!
