Posted - 02 September 2010 : 13:51:03 I went bankrupt in Sept 2009 and was discharged in April 2010. One of the creditors was HMRC for income tax. Recently, HMRC have declared that I owe more tax from 2007 from investigations they have undertaken. Obviously they will have stated to the receiver my liability as at the date of bankruptcy but can they now come back and effectively claim that the amount I owed should in fact have been higher? Many thanks
