My husband and I are due to go bankrupt next week (I cannot believe this is happening to us). While we wait we think we may get a visit from a high court enforcement officer (sherriff) as we have missed our agreed payment. Is he able to break into my home and seize goods?

Hi

From your question I assume that you already have had court action against you and an initial visit from the Sherrif.

1. How many agreed payments have you missed
2. Are the agreed payments with the Sherrif
3. Has the Sherrif already been inside your house and have you signed a form ( It would list certain assets in the house )

Finally is is a business address - the rules are slightly different
