Hi all,

We haven't heard from our trustee as yet, went bankrupt in August. Our situation is as follows, myself unemployed due to business going down, my wife earns about £1200 a month, our minimum outgoings are around £1400. I can't get any jobseekers allowance due to previous self employment, plus other half earn more than £102 per week.
No unemployment benefit either due to circumstances!. So on the basis we have no disposable income at all, if our income does not change before the end of our bankruptcy, does that mean we won't get an IPA?.

Regards,Mike.

Afternoon Mike62,

If your disposable income, after all monthly expenditures have been accounted for, amount to under £99 or less, then you will not get an IPA.

Hi Mike,

If they don't think you have a surplus of at least £100 and your circumstances don't change, then, no, you won't get an IPA.
