Posted - 07 October 2010 : 08:05:30 Hi ... Hi I'm new here and the general basis of my question is this, please bare with me ...I have been on an IVA with DFD for just over two years . What is happening now is that I am increasingly struggling against a fluctuating monthly and subsequent decreased wage that is causing me major concerns of having to pay back a newly reviewed figure from November of £655 into my IVA . This review has increased the IVA now to short of six years to meet the 33 p in the pound , which is a real psychological blow . I took the IVA with good faith and dont question anybodys professionalism and tried my hardest in meeting each and every payment bar last month when my take home pay just did not cover anywhere near the expected figure , with me paying only £120 . This I can see as not having a set wage is going to be the failing of the IVA as dentistry is dead as a dodo right now , I'm a Dental Technician . Morally I thought the IVA was best but now with my quality of life at 44 to think about , single too , having no money sorts true love out ..lol.., I am looking at Bankruptcy . I am up to date with all mortgage pyments but not sure if a fresh start is the best . To go Bankrupt , rent out , and declare the negative equity shortfall in the Bankruptcy , taking on a more realistic rental agreement , and an IPA over three years , and being free to start again with more affordability , suiting my fluctuating wage . Take stock , move forward with any new ventures at work , and go from there . Really sorry about the long post but anything on any info would be most helpful .Thankyou ... |

Buckle your seat belt Dorothy, 'cos Kansas is going bye bye.
