Posted - 24 October 2010 : 22:30:04 what do i need to list as an assett on a bankrupty form we own nothing over about £50 and all our clothes are from charity shops anf furniture in all second hand the only thing i have is my dead mums ring worth about £50 if i wear to sell it

All of your personal and household effects are exempt from bankruptcy unless you have specific items worth over approximately £2,000. You do not need to declare them. The bankruptcy forms are specific about the assets that you should be deeclaring.

Posted - 24 October 2010 : 23:51:36 i just listed my car as thats all i had . i dont think the ring will be taken into account as its not worth much. they didnt take my partners car that was valued at £700. they are not interested in household goods unless you have items worth hundreds so dont worry
