Posted - 26 October 2010 : 23:17:12 My wife has been made bankrupt and we have a holiday home in France which is joint names. Can the receiver force a sale on this. Also the price they are prepared to sell at is nearly 30% below market level. Do I have any say in this matter, as i feel this price is far to low

Posted - 26 October 2010 : 23:54:42 Hi, what is the position with the holiday home in France? is it mortgaged, or owned outright, as this will influence the OR, as to how he/she deals with the property Also, is the petitioning creditor in a majority(i.e. do they have more than 50% of the total liabilities).
