Posted - 07 November 2010 : 16:56:34 We are looking into an IVA but I now think that we should go down the bankruptcy route but we own a house and really don't want to loose it, we have had it valued and we are in negative equity by £6'000.00 and it has been like this for about 3 years - will we be able to keep our house? And when it says about buying it back from the turstee if the house has no equity what would that cost? Any advice would be a great help

The legal costs can vary but are usually between £200 and £500 depending on the exact situation
