Posted - 14 November 2010 : 09:57:54 Hi all new member to the forum (should have joined a lot earlier) Been reading forum for a long time now, has been a great help to me filling in forms and getting answers to my questions Finally go to court on Monday 15th November for my bankruptcy hearing Very nervous and stressed about the court. Took a long time to get to this point had been struggling with debt for a few years, in 2008 made a decision to enter into an IVA was going OK until February this year when I suffered a stroke so can only work part time now so only route was bankruptcy. Will let you know how it goes, thanks again for all your help

Its natural to feel nervous but it really isnt as bad as you think and believe me the sense of relief when its over is immense. Like you I struggled with an IVA and due to work declared bankrupt. Not proud of myself but had no other option and now a year on I can honestly say its the best thing that could have happenned and should have done it sooner. Your health and wellbeing are far more important than money.
