Hi, I have debts going back over 6 years totalling approximately £36K. I ran these up on credit cards and a personnal loan during a period in which i had lost my business and became dependant on alcohol. however these have just caught up with me as i have just got back on my feet. I have recently split from my second with and am living in rented accomadation. I have no assetts i dont even own a tv ! I am however in full time employment earning around £32K per year. I rent my home, i have 3 children all under the age of 9 to different people and are currently going through a reassessment through the CSA for one of the children. not sure which way to turn right now any advise would be greatly appreciated

Hi Michael

welcome to forum sorry to read yor predicament

Bankruptcy would appear the option for you but without knowing your full circumstances, it is one of the options to consider.

I think that it would be good to speak to one of the experts and make certain that you are making the right selection.

Most of the experts do a first call no obligation consultation.

Good Luck Richard

Hankruptcy would certainly be an option. CSA arrears are not included in bankruptcy but if you pay maintenance for your children that will be allowed when totaling your expenditure for any IPA payments
