Posted - 17 December 2010 : 22:58:06 our son had money saved to purchase a vehicle, we needed money to pay on bills so he decided to buy his dad's truck instead of something else. we were able to use the money to get caught up on finances. We are getting ready to meet w/a lawyer for a bankruptcy. my son hasn't transfered the title into his name yet, does this need to be done before we file? We have a bill of sale and we can show what we did with the money. will this be acceptable to the courts?

Unless you have a very complicated business bankruptcy there shouldn't be any need to see a lawyer for the BR.
